Burger #2 did not disappoint. It was as advertised and very tasty. We lucked out and found a table at the taproom next door. Then we waited as the line was out the door. Even so it didn't take too long. Oddly the drink special was a slushy drink and not Jim Beam black. I did not get the drink special since we were sitting next door.

My rating: B+

Burger Name: Sgt. Poblano Pepper Lonely Artichoke Hearts Club Burger

Description: 1855 PNW Black Angus beef, roast poblano and fresno pepper sauce, topped with a grilled artichoke and red pepper cream cheese sauce

The Insipration: Hitting a wall with creative ideas after this last year, we turned to my burger chef hero, Chef Bob Belcher. Looking through his catalog of burger specials, we picked on taste, but more importantly the strength of the pun was paramount.

Burger #3. My buddy is taking burger week seriously. He's already 2 ahead of me and apparently plans to get in at least 2 today. For breakfast, he went to Brunch Box and he was not disappointed.

Description: Beef patty, bacon, fried egg, american cheese, grilled onions, a hashbrown and aardvark habanero hot sauce served on a Henry Higgins everything bagel.

The Insipration: Check out this collaboration between two of Portland's best, Brunch Box and Henry Higgins Boiled Bagels! For $6 you absolutely can not go wrong!

Addendum to Burger Review #1 (Slaw, Spice & Everything Nice) not everything was nice. For better or for worse Joe and I choked ours down but my girlfriend decided to be more surgical in her approach.
